Our Story, Established in 2008
Above and Beyond Services was founded in 2008 by Jeff Cooper. Jeff has been in the industry in Colorado for over 30 years. He started Pruning trees and doing plant health care in an apple orchard in his hometown of Michigan City, Indiana during the early 1980s. After graduating high school, he moved to Colorado where he tried his hand at a few other trades, but they never fit.
In the mid-1980s Jeff began working for Swingle Tree and Lawn as an arborist. Working for Swingle, he became an expert in a number of departments including plant health care and lawn care. Jeff started his own company - Woodstock Tree - in 1987. He worked for Angle Tree and Lawn ultimately purchasing Angle in 1997. Jeff sold Angle to Davey Tree and Tru Green in 2001.
Jeff retired for a short time until he found a new passion for pest and wildlife control which led him to start Above and Beyond Services in 2008. By 2011 Jeff had built his customer base and began offering lawn and tree care services including tree trimming and removals.
We are licensed by the Colorado Department of Wildlife & Department of Agriculture and can take care of all your pest control needs.

We scheduled out 3 weeks. They called to confirm the day prior. 3 gents arrived on time and were very efficient taking down a huge cottonwood. Fast, on-time, efficient, polite. Couldn’t ask for much more.
