OUR STORY
Established in 2008
From Orchard Roots to Industry Leadership
Our founder, Jeff Cooper, has been dedicated to tree and plant health since the early 1980s. His journey began in an apple orchard in Michigan City, Indiana, where he learned the fundamentals of pruning trees and plant health care. After moving to Colorado, he explored various trades before finding his true passion in arboriculture and plant care.
Jeff worked for Swingle Tree and Lawn as an arborist, gaining expertise in tree care, lawn care, and plant health. In 1987, he founded his first company, Woodstock Tree, before acquiring Angle Tree and Lawn in 1997. Eventually, he sold the company to Davey Tree and TruGreen in 2001.
Jeff discovered a new passion for pest and wildlife control, leading him to establish Above and Beyond Services in 2008. By 2011, the company had expanded to include lawn and tree care services, growing into the full-service outdoor solutions provider it is today.
